Conditioning chambers and halls

Exact final moisture also under unfavorable conditions

Wood is a hygroscopic material and always adapts to the environmental humidity. Kiln-dried wood should be directly processed and/or stored air-conditioned. It depends on the surrounding relative humidity how fast wood again takes up humidity. Particularly in tropical and subtropical countries drying kiln operators run conditioning chambers to hold the final moisture.

BES Bollmann offers also here the custom-made solution for your needs. Dependent on wood, final moisture content and environment climate we find a solution for your lumber or veneer. We contribute to your success and protect you from customer complaints.
